Luis Grijalva, a senior at Northern Arizona, won the men's invitational 5,000 meters in 13:29.02, covering the final lap in 54.83 seconds, at the Fresno State West Coast Relays at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Grijalva, representing Guatemala, clocked 13:16.75 in December at the Sound Running Track Meet in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
