Krissy Gear, a senior at Arkansas, won the women's invitational 1,500 meters in a personal-best 4:09.0 at the Fresno State West Coast Relays at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Gear ran the fastest in-season time in Arkansas history, eclipsing the 2018 Division 1 runner-up performance of 4:09.14 achieved by Nikki Hiltz, elevating to the No. 13 all-time collegiate competitor. Only Dominique Scott has produced a faster 1,500 at any time of the year among Arkansas athletes, running 4:08.65 in Italy in 2015.
