Sam Prakel, an adidas professional athlete and volunteer assistant at Washington, won the men's invitational 1,500 meters in 3:36.86 at the Fresno State West Coast Relays at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Prakel just missed his previous-best 3:36.54 from August in Tennessee.
